The Bridge Illustration
“The Bridge” uses a simple way to share the gospel message using illustration, showing there is no intermediary to God except Jesus. Every Scripture verse cited fits in the context of its intended meaning in the Bible.
There are plenty of great sermons or teachings out there exhorting Christians to evangelize or to witness, yet the vast majority remain unmoved. Based on studies, only one out of 10 Christians make a genuine effort to share the gospel with others; there might be several reasons for this, but here are two main ones:

Basically, some believe that the believers’ presence is enough, that it is enough to show through one’s life the goodness of God. Indeed, presence is essential. But this will not provide adequate information to lead a person to saving faith in Christ. The apostle Paul pointed out, “How then will they call on him in whom they have not believed? And how are they to believe in him of whom they have never heard? And how are they to hear without someone preaching?” (). Proclamation of the gospel is needed to lead the lost to Jesus Christ.

Many Christians simply don’t know how to share the good news of salvation.
